Dr. Thomas R. De Vita

Originally from Long Island, Dr. Thomas De Vita was first introduced to chiropractic when his mother was completely debilitated by a back injury. She was told she would need corrective surgery but a friend convinced her to consult a chiropractor. Needless to say she made a full recovery because of the chiropractic treatment and never had the surgery. This profound event inspired a young Dr. Tom to become a chiropractor and help others the way his mother was helped. Upon graduation from the University of Hartford he fulfilled his doctorate in chiropractic at Columbia Institute of Chiropractic and started practicing here in Acton in 1975. He started using the Activator technique shortly after beginning practice and has been teaching the technique worldwide for multiple decades. Dr. Tom enjoys staying active with long distance road biking and playing with his young grandchildren.
